Africa Wildlife Safari at Mole and Pendjari park_it

Day 1: Accra
Upon arrival in Accra Kotoka International Airport after going thought the immigration and customs formalities , you are are met and transferred to your accommodation
Day 2: Accra - Tamale- Mole National PARK
You will be transferred from your hotel in Accra to the Kotoka Airport to the domestic departure section for your onward flight to Tamale .Upon arrival in Tamale Airport you will be met and transferred to Mole Motel ,a stunning location situated on the escarpment overlooking the watering holes with a pleasant pool. The hotel offers a great base to explore the park . You will start off with your late after noon private drive safari accompanied by your friendly knowledgeable ranger/guide with an extensive amount of knowledge ,Great opportunity to take photos of Elephants warthogs, baboons, crocodiles and antelopes Elephants will be the only ‘big’ game” ,. After the safari you can sit near by the pool or take a dip to cool off the heat.
Day 3 : Mole National Park
Having had a restful night you will wake up in the African jungle for your morning foot safari..Accompanied by your guide you walk to into the park with the possibility of viewing elephants and other different animals. After the foot safari You will depart 15kms on dirt road from Mole Motel to Mognori Eco Village a charming and welcoming village made of traditional mud and thatch huts.You will take 45 minutes to one hour canoe safari trip on the mole river up into the back of the mole national park. and back to Mognori eco village. After the canoe safari you leave the village behind and drive back to the motel . The rest of the day is free and you may choose to take a dip in the pool for relaxation and to cool down the heat or you watch the animals from the motels viewing platform.
Today is your last chance to add the missing animals to your target during your late after noon safari drive into the park accompanied by your armed guide late after noon. After the game drive you have the rest of the evening free.
Day 4: Mole National PARK – Tamale – Kara
This morning you will head to wards Kara Northern Togo.You will on the way stop by some villages . ,You will Cross the Ghana –Togo Tatale border and go through border formalities for immigration and customs with the assistance from your guide .Continue to Kara and over night at your hotel.
Day 5 : Kara -Kaby Mountains Koutammako- Somba - Natitingou
This morning you depart from Kara to Natitingou. On the way You will pass through Lasso village known for its Soukulas made from ...area . You will see potters who use prehistoric methods and have no ovens but produce ceramic goods covered with straw which are baked subsequently. En route visit the Tcharé village nuzzled in the valley of the Mount Kabyé an area famous for its blacksmithing At Tchare the traditional black smiths in the village work the iron with an open oven on two sides and stones over the years and still continue to produce farm implements like hoes and machetes using old methods .You will see them beating red hot iron with sharpened stones to make musical instruments and communication gadgets like gong gongs for their community. I You will have opportunity to , purchase some of the unique works as souvenirs and take photographs . You continue to a very sepcial village at the Tamberba-valley with it's unique architecture described as the adobe or "Tata"miniature fortified castles , a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape site known as the Koutammako, of the Somba .There are three level to reach the various floors of “ Tata “ building is used for cattle, grain storage , sleeping . Here you will meet women weaving their wedding hats decorated with cowries and antelope horns of which they are very proud about their art,.
You may take photos ..Head off to Benin, you cross the Togo and Bénin border at Nadoba and Bouku to enter Koussoukooingo village. Continue to your hotel.
Day 6: Natitingou – Pendjari National Park
You wake up in the morning refreshed . Continue your drive to the Pendjari National park . You take you first after noon game drive safari in this truly beautiful wildlife and natural areas are being conserved . Have on your game list the hippos ,African wild dogs ,cheetahs lions ,several elephants ,crocodiles ,monkeys , leopards, warthogs hippos, crocs, baboons and monkeys, small cats ,warthogs, hyenas, a honey badger, Birds in the park are also an absolute must for bird watching . After the game drive you depart to your lodge .Rest of the evening is free
Day 7: Pendjari National Park
Take your morning and after noon game drives today , You have nothing to do but to. Look out for the animals you missed the previous day..
Day 8: Pendjari National Park – Tanougou - Taneke- Kara
You Start your day with an early morning game drive and hoping you will add on to your game list some of the games you missed After you depart from the park enroute you stop over at Tanougou water falls..Take a dip in the natural pool to cool off if you wish or to swim.. Continue further your exploration of the Natitingou area .Your first stop is a historical visit to the Natitingou Museum relating to German and French presence in the area and learn the Betamaribe culture and tradition. You then continue to the hills surrounding the villages to the he Betamaribe of Atacora who have occupied the Atacora Mountains for centuries and are called “good masons” and also visiting the mysterious and ancient Taneke . You will meet the Koko people to learn about
their culture you will see adobe huts the fortress like homestead of the tata sombas with stone walls and courtyards in isolated area . There are two villages a kilometer apart: one village is inhabited during the dry season and deserted during the rainy season and vice versa. Only the animist or fetish priest, the old villagers and children stay in the village while the rest that are able to work move around as seasonal workers. The village is under the authority of a grand master. He can be distinguished by his long curved pipe made of copper, which must always stay. After you continue to the Boukambe the border town to cross to Togo.After customs and immigration formalities you enter into Kara.
Day 9: Kara – Tamale –Accra
You depart from kara in the morning to Tamale. You cross the Togo – Ghana border and after customs and immigration formalites you depart to Tamale. Upon arrival you are dropped off a the airport for your onward flight to Accra depending when you arrive You can do some shopping of souvenirs . There is day room for you in Accra. Accompanied by your guide you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight back home.
